From the Rectory – March

Friendship, family, prayer, celebration, relationship, welcome, worship, spirituality, support, belonging, ritual, sacrament, thanksgiving, love.

For all these reasons, and for many more, people have been coming to Lawford Church for at least 700 years. Over the centuries, the Church has stood at the heart of our village, a place to meet with friends, family and God.
This year, in order to maintain the day to day running of this ancient building, and to continue to offer ministry to those who need it, when they need it, we will have to raise more than £1,500 per week.
This is an invitation to join us at our 2018 Gift Day on Saturday 17th of March, between 11am & 3pm, and help us continue this ministry. There is a leaflet enclosed with this months magazine and available in church entitled ‘Supporting Your Church’ leaflet, and discover how you can help.  All gifts are welcome. They can be returned on Gift Day itself, or by post.
Again with both the magazine and in the church you’ll find a ‘Consent Form’. New Government regulations that are being introduced in May 2018 say that we need your permission to contact you. Without this permission we’ll be unable to keep you updated and involved with news, events, activities and services at Lawford Church.
We love being part of our community here in Lawford, and hope to continue to stay in touch with all of our local friends.
Please fill in and return the form, and either post it back, or drop it in at the church next time you’re nearby. We’d love to see you!
