About our Church
St Mary’s in Lawford is a friendly family church that is part of the Church of England in the diocese of Chelmsford. Although we gather together to meet every Sunday for worship, it’s not just about Sunday’s! Small Groups, that lie at the heart of who are we, meet at other times during the week. Children have groups on Sundays and are welcome along with all the family at Messy Church.
As a group of Christians, we follow Jesus Christ – an explanation of what we believe is available here. Although we meet in an ancient building, our outlook is entirely focused on living as Christians in a contemporary age. We are excited by all that God wants to do in Lawford, and as our vision statement says we are ‘Loving God. Living Life!’. We look forward to meeting you soon!
